🎈Birthday parties & creative workshops>

There is no squiggle without
wiggle, and there is no
wiggle without squiggle;
everything leaves a mark.

SquiggleWiggle  arts and crafts classes should spark creativity and build confidence!

Using mostly collage techniques, we will create an original project each week, which should be both achievable and satisfying to make and take home. Where suitable we will incorporate some movement or play to connect with our creations.

All materials will be provided, with lots of elements prepared in advance.

Hello, I am Diana

I'm from Estonia and a mother to a 19-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl. I have a First Class Honours degree in Performing Arts, specialising in Dance. I never had any formal art training. I am creative. I think creativity is my superpower!

When my daughter was two, I realised that between us we’d accumulated quite a few fun arty projects, which would be great to share with others. That’s when SquiggleWiggle moved beyond my kitchen table.

Since then, my own creative practice has continued to grow too. I completed a Postgraduate Certificate in the Therapeutic Arts at the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education (IATE), as well as a Certificate in Child and Adolescent Counselling Skills. This has added another layer to the way I think about creativity, confidence and giving people space to express themselves.

Today I run arts and crafts classes for children and creative workshops for children and adults in schools and community settings. I like projects to be inviting and achievable, while still leaving plenty of space for imagination.

I want people to feel free to make things their own, without worrying about getting them right. In fact, my one rule: there are no mistakes, just things to discover! I see that freedom in both of my children, who have grown into wonderfully independent creators.
